Maritza Walton
Maritza’s career began in 1990 as a Tax Auditor with the Internal Revenue Service for 10 years. She then transitioned into Real Estate Investment Sales and for the past 20 years, she has excelled in Mortgage Underwriting for Residential Government and Conventional Loans. In 2018 she stepped into the entrepreneurial world and began the award-winning, RITZ-WALTON WEDDING COLLECTION, a floral design and luxury events specialty firm. With only 2 years into the Wedding and Event Industry, Maritza has successfully serviced over 100 Brides with her work being published in Bridal Magazines and recognized on several Wedding Social Media Platforms.
Maritza has also been serving as the Managing Director of Weddings and Events at the Art Factory in Paterson, New Jersey. She took on the challenging project, managing a 400,000 square foot venue space that host 4 to 6 weddings a weekend, with the sole mission of successfully transforming their reviews into 5 Star reviews. Maritza has been pivotal in placing this venue on track to becoming Northern New Jersey’s #1 sought after Industrial Chic Wedding Venue.
